I’m Matt, a UX Designer in Atlanta. I spent the last 15+ years working on (and basically living on) the web as a visual designer. I’m also a big fan of science and skepticism, challenging assumptions investigating claims such as “Did Big Foot’s ghost appear on some guy’s toast in the middle of Wisconsin?”

So imagine my delight when I discovered my career as a graphic web designer could be expanded to be so much more by combining it with the principles of investigation, challenging assumptions, and following the evidence to wherever it leads. That this can be used to create things that are useful to people, rather than guessing. That the things I make can be tested and improved and tested more. All this in the field of UX Design.
