My fourth project at General Assembly was the Passion Project, something that was completely up to me. I love my dogs (poodles) and my wife and I have adopted our past and present fuzzy pals. While I was aware that there was a lot of opportunity for improvement in the pet adoption online landscape, it was still imperative to research what other online pet adopters experienced. Efficiently finding pets is something that frustrates people online. The Atlanta Humane Society is one of the largest pet adoption groups in Georgia and yet has a poor mobile presence with frustrating search and listings. I made my project about addressing those issues.
